Galas, Galas, Everywhere!
It’s the Hamptons. It’s mid-season. That’s a lotta galas!
By midsummer, we’ve all been inundated with pictures of glamorous venues and stylish revelers. But look closely and you’ll realize that collectively these events generate millions of dollars in donations which support our essential local organizations.
For example, even here in the abundant Hamptons, not all of our neighbors can feed their families. Enter Heart of the Hamptons, a beloved food pantry that works year-round to support local families in need. Their summer “gala” is just around the corner. It’s their 2nd Annual Moonlit Plunge — best attended barefoot!
Really, now, what could be more fabulous than gathering at Cooper’s Beach by the light of the summer moon to take a dip in the ocean? It’s gorgeous and exhilarating and utterly fun – and all proceeds go to Heart of the Hamptons.
